1. Where to start if I want to try it?

At out local course Zwartkop country club in Centurion South Africa OR search on the Udisc app for courses in your area.

2. How do I score?

On the UDisc app. Download on Android and IOS. Search the course and start playing.

3. Basic rules?

Throw in order, keep moving, respect the course, and be courteous.

4. Can beginners play?

Yes, anyone can start playing right away. If you feel you need a bit direction, book a coaching session.

5. I am a beginner, where do I play?

6. What discs to choose in different weather?

Check out our Disc choice page. Use over stable discs in wind; under stable discs at high altitude.

7. What apparel to wear?

There is no formal code. We recommend to wear comfortable shoes with some grip and outdoor exercise or sport clothing.

8. Do I buy discs if I play the first time.

You don’t have to. You can rent discs to try it out at any Discbro course. You can also buy discs from us if the bug bites hard. Contact us for a starter set.

9. What beverages are allowed?

Depend on what course is being played. Different rules for different courses as some courses have restaurants. We recommend a large water bottle and a small snack as there is no halfway house on courses.

10. How can I join a community?

There is a big disc golf community on whatsapp. Let us know on the “contact page” to find out if there is a community near you.
