How to play
-
Download the UDISC app (see video)
-
Holes are par 3’s, par 4’s and par 5’s
-
Courses are usually 9 or 18 holes.
-
The Goal – Get your disc into the basket in as few throws as possible, like golf but with flying discs
-
Starting the Hole – If you’re a beginner start from the RED tee layout and throw toward the basket.
-
-
If you have played before and know disc golf start from the WHITE tee layout and throw toward the basket.
-
If you are a regular player and like a good challenge start from the BLUE tee layout and throw toward the basket.
-
-
Play your lie: Each throw is made from where your disc landed
-
Stay behind: Release the disc before stepping past your lie.
-
Taking Turns – After the first throw, the player farthest from the basket throws next.
-
Completing the Hole – The hole ends when your disc rests in the basket or chains.
-
Scoring – Count your throws; lowest total wins.
-
Putting: Inside 10m, you must stay behind your lie until the disc comes to rest.
-
Out of bounds (OB): Add 1 penalty throw and continue from your last spot in bounds or re-tee.
-
Hazard (HZD): Play from where the disc have landed but add 1 penalty stroke.
